  2. I have purchased a BSNL 3G data card prepaid in chennai sriperumbudur. but its service is very very poor and also there is almost no network at all. I need to go out in balcony or on roof. still the speed is very low. The service is worst. i suggest all ppl not to purchase this data card. I m sure one day will come the govt has to sell it to private parties. Will bsnl ever bothered to understand ppl problems? will they ever compete to Reliance or airtel? Prasar Bharti, BSNL…. ???????

  3. Recently I have taken 3g BSNL connection with a hope that I will get good responce, but I am sorry to say that I am not getting proper connectivity at my residance at Sonari, Adarshnagar, Jamshedpur. Now I am thinking to disconnect the above connection and switchover to other service provider.

  4. guys bsnl 3g datacard really sucks!!!! trust me, i am using modem MMX310G 3G USB. its not at all cost-effective.i got it in 4000 something. then i had to pay extra for the activation charge. then again whenever you wanna recharge it you pay for the tariff+service tax. i am really regretting. i wish i could go back in time and stop myself from buying it. plz you all dont do the mistake that i did.

  5. Hai to all, pls dont purchase this bsnl 3g data card as it is very very bad (especially in Guduvancherry, chennai). Actually I purchased bsnl 3g usb data card (micromax) for Rs.4000/- in the last month from Raja marketing pvt ltd (an authorized bsnl dealer), sanatorium, Chennai. Only for sometimes I m getting one point tower (in guduvancherry)and all the time there is no network coverage. Even if i m getting one point, the connection is disconnected for evry 5 or 10 mins and its speed is also very slow. For the past one month, I m in full of tension and headache with this… SO PLS GO FOR BSNL BROADBAND ONLY 🙁

  6. Hai, I have purchased BSNL 3G datacard from Bangalore . (Rs. 785 for 3 months with 18 GB download. 1 GB Day time 5 GB Night. total 6GB/month). Hay it is really worth.Even it is working in Chennai and Kolkata also. I am really happy with the service given by BSNL. I think no other service provider will give 3G service for this amount.

  7. BSNL 3G data card is THE WORST

I am from Nagpur. I bought this BSNL 3G data card a month ago with unlimited plan. When I saw demo I got impressed with the speed, closed other 2 connections and purchased this. I don’t remember a day when it didn’t disconnected within 10 to 15 mins and every now and then since 4-5 days. Its not that I live in interior parts where there may be chance of week signals. I tested on various machines also but the same.
I am a freelance web developer and can’t do without internet. BSNL 3G has ruined my business. I am losing money and clients like anything. There is no one to hear with this people. No one picks up the call at customer support number and no one takes any action you give any written complaints.

Guys stay away from this BSNL 3G data card otherwise you will just be helpless and pulling your hairs and go bald soon. This people are fooling us by selling useless products. I am posting this message on as many blogs as I can so as I can prevent some people form getting cheated by these people.

  8. Hi All,
I am from Bangalore and stay near Majestic area. I too bought a BSNL 3G with a
data card after Diwali. The signal strength in my area is almost 98-100%.
Considering this, I get an average speed of 1.5 – 2 Mbps.
The maximum file download speed which I observed while downloading a file form Oracle website was 756 KBps. Remember its KBps and not Kbps, so its a caps ’B’.
So that was truly amazing. Therefore the maximum download speed I noticed was 4.5 Mbps and an average of 2 Mbps most of the time.
The least speed observed in the same site was 120-140 KBps with a slight fluctuation.
Torrent downloads with 4 file simultaneously, the total bandwith for download nearly reached 390-400 KBps, and upload was 1-1.5 Mbps.

This is truly amazing provided u have sufficient signal in ur respective areas.

    One query please.
Am using Huawei data card, model no e1752, which I purchased for Rs 3800/= Is this the correct price? Or have I paid more for this ?

I heard the prices for the same Huawei model in e-Bay, Alibaba etc are being sold for Rs . 2800-3000/- . Is it fine to buy goods from these sites…?
Can they be genuine and can we rely on them…?
Anybody having some knowledge about this, please reply and share their experiences.
Any body who knows about this or who want to know anything about BSNL’s 3G experience can drop me a mail to mohammedbit@gmail.com

    Thanks,
